This workshop, which was a great success in 2016, is not only a look at certain plants which are edible but also how to create drinks from them. Whether it is a simple tea, a syrup, a liqueur or even some wild foraged cocktails and mocktails.
Identifying plants is just the first step in creating something truly special with them, and one of the easiest things to do with your finds is to create delicious drinks to impress your friends.
On this workshop we are going to look at a number of plants including Japanese Rose (with its amazing Turksih Delight scent) right through to Mugwort (a tea from this can enhance your dreams!). Nettles, Elderflowers, Mint and Meadowsweet will be just a small number of the plants we will look at and try and create something truly amazing with.
With ready made syrups to try, a selection of wild teas and a some wild mocktails (non-alcoholic) there will be plenty to tantilise the taste buds and inspire you to go out on your doorstep and create some unique drinks of your own.
Our courses are limited to 12 people as this number allows for a good atmosphere and allows David to get to know what each persons knowledge base is and cater to their needs, whether you are a complete novice to foraging or slightly more experienced we can offer everyone a truly great experience.
